In 1993, After Jay ''Sky'' Walker led the Howard University Bison to a grueling 38-36 victory over Steve McNair and Alcorn State Universitythe sky was the limit. Howard would eventually finish with not only the best record in school history, but Walker also led the Bison to the Black College Football National Championship, going a perfect 11-0. During his career Walker set school and MEAC records that were near perfect. He threw for a school-record 3,363 yards and completed 223 passes in 1993. He was an all-MEAC selection in 1992 and 1993 and is ranked eleventh all-time in the conference with 5,711 yards passing during his two-year stint.
